well, i finished one of the big things i was working on for myself and it's now up for viewing. my problem now is that i'm not sure if i really want to use it....also, it may be way too much trouble to get it to fit into this or the rest of the pages on the site....who knows, i may try and integrate it into the cross-referencing web app. that's the next big thing i'll be working on and it may be a while before it's up and available.

just within the past year i've been on an open source software kick. i'm not one of those open source nuts...you know, the ones that only use open source software. if you've seen that horrible movie antitrust then you'll know the type of people i'm talking about. anyway, i just saw that a new open source software suite/group has been formed and released. Open Groupware is a derivative of open office and has the open source equivalent of microsoft exchange. it sounds pretty interesting, but i can't download it b/c it looks like their server is too bogged down right now...oh well, maybe later this month.

today is thursday and that means i may watch another episode of the new adult ren & stimpy on tnn. last week's episode was fucked up...not funny, bad, good, or boring, just plain fucked up.

ok, so i just found out that the open groupware has no windows version, but there are versions available for linux. hmm, that just may mean i'll have to start using linux instead of just having it around....maybe i'll change from redhat to mandrake, too, but i don't want to get too much ahead of myself.

i said this before, but this movable type blogger is damn sweet. it basically does all the hard work for me. pretty badass. anyway, i guess that will be the entry for today. tonight is another rehearsal and then hanging out with my baby. tomorrow is work and play, i do believe...movies, hanging out, and hopefully some video games. we shall see....
