i come in to work this morning and receive word that a news channel (4 i think) is coming in today to go over a site we're creating for st. tammany parish in louisiana. well, the news crew just left and we got the stuff done that needed to be. mission accomplished.
did you know that in 200 million years, scientists already know what kind of sea creatures will be around? well, i didn't either until last night when i was watching animal planet's the future is wild. apparently scientists have an idea about what kind of animals will be around then. crazy sounding shit like the rainbow squid that's the "master of disguise" of the ocean. the silver swimmer which is a descendant of plankton and retains its juvenile form into adulthood, but can also become mature and pretty much turn into anything it wants because it's plankton...so it basically lives two complete lives. the best, however, comes in twos. first, the sharks 200 million years from now will be known as sharkopaths. what a crappy name, but there's one even better than that; you'll find out soon enough, i guarantee it. anyway, these wonderful sharkopaths will be able to communicate with each other through blinking lights on the sides of their bodies. they also have a plethora of hardcore attributes that make them the most feared killers in the sea. anyway, remember when i said there was an even worse name than the sharkopath? yeah well, the show later discussed that flying fish, being the prevalent species that they are (sarcasm) will survive the mass extinction and evolve into fish that can actually fly...you know, flying fish, but they'll actually be known as "flish" according to this tv show. anyway, i don't really feel like going into any detail regarding these flish and we soon turned the tv off anyway.
i think that's pretty much it for now. shopping may occur tonight, so i may mention that tomorrow. out.
