news for today: i've found a new game to get even though i just purchased one in the genre earlier this week. i need to get mario golf for the game cube....need. you see, i knew it would be a decent game as all mario sports titles are, but this has gotten favorable reviews from all the people who's opinions i respect. as a result, i will most likely be getting this game come next pay day...which should be tomorrow or friday, excellent. (side note: mario golf has something like the easy shot mode in hot shots 2...great!)

x-play last night had a segment showing how to build an arcade machine / table and i think i'll be doing this sometime down the road. it just sounds way too sweet not to have. the best thing is that the actual arcade machine is emulated, so you can have pretty much any game you find.

i think i'm going to add a new section to this page, but i'm not sure if i want to keep it in the template or have it in one of the entries. anyway, that section is going to be the "best" animal name of the week. these aren't actual animal names, though. these names have been provided by the show on animal planet called "the future is wild." you may remember my post about the sharkopath and the flish. well, they were the winners of the "best animal name of the week" for last week. this week, however, the title goes to a bat / bird hybrid from 5 million years in the future. the name? the deathgleaner...yes, the deathgleaner. it doesn't even sound like a name of an animal, common or otherwise. to me, it sounds more like the name of a D&D monster.

anyway, i was driving to work this morning and have decided, officially, that radio sucks. i havent listened to the radio in a really long time because i always listen to cds, but my car is out of commission for the time being and the vehicle i'm using now has only the radio...and the radio sucks...a lot. out of my half hour drive to work this morning, i heard nary a song that i (a) knew or (b) liked. everything sucked, including the morning show.

i guess that'll be it for now. oh yeah, before i forget. i set up a review site here (looks exactly the same as this one for now) and i should be slowly changing the look of everything here soon. btw, the newest movie reviews will be listed to the left as they present themselves. out.
