oh yes! i just heard news of the "blockbuster hit" gigli. it turns out that this movies blows....a lot. i knew it probably would, but it seems the masses were intelligent for once. you see, according to many of the news sites online, gigli is one of the worst movies made...even moreso than reindeer games. the movie was described as an "ill-conceived mess" by cnn.com. according to the review i just linked, this whole movie is flawed. non-realistic situations and characters, blasé acting, and an insulting script. what a surprise! i just like the fact that a shitty movie that was getting a lot of attention only for the actors in it bombed greatly in its first weekend.

gigli's box office showings are sooooo low. after it closed sunday, gigli was tied for 7th with finding nemo (a movie that's been out a good deal longer than gigli). it only earned $3.8 million. christ, even tomb raider beat it out and i'm pretty sure that it's also a piece of shit. well, i just wanted to comment on how humorous it is for this movie to suck and make NO money. i think i heard/read that it cost $50 million to make. hahaha. hopefully when jersey girl comes out, kevin smith can make j.lo interesting and not bomb with his attempt.
