so last night as i'm leaving my baby's house, i switch over to prm hoping some kind of music that was better than cpr was on. i was not disappointed. classical piano and symphony on the way home is usually decent.

interesting game news today:

(1) a sequel to the gba's warioware, inc (which is a pretty cool game) is in the works for the gamecube. i can only imagine the sheer amount of games that would be available as well as the huge improvement for graphics in that type of game. needless to say, i'm very interested in this game.
(2) there's rumor that nintendo is supposedly releasing something next year that will revolutionize gaming...i'm not sure what that means, but i also saw that they are halting production of new gamecubes until the surplus thins out.
(3) jeez, a lot of nintendo news today...a new handheld may be in the works and it might use discs instead of cartidges.
(4) here's something interesting: a new handheld will be out soon and it's not made by any main game company. the handheld will be called the "game theory advance" (GTA) and will play gba games. here's basic info...go about a third of the way down the page.

i was reading through some forums and one was mentioning silent hill 3 and how creepy it was. in fact, it's supposed to be a direct sequel to the first silent hill on the psx. that game was excellent...at least in its execution of the creepiness. next payday will definitely hold silent hill 3 in its grasp.

finally, i want to revist the league of extraordinary gentlemen. my review can be found here and it's not favorable to the movie. however, i found more proof (or agreement) from good ol' tycho at penny-arcade. he says, "Like the toad in the boiling pot, you will not mind or, indeed, notice when what makes you an individual entity is eradicated by this particularly unctuous and unworthy piece of cinema." excellent. that's it for now, out.
