[Listening to: Moby - The Sky Is Broken - (?)]

well, it's another day with excellent weather, at least regarding the temperature. let's see what has happened since last i posted...jessica is (or finished already) at the doctor's office getting everything taken care of so she can start using her brand-new insulin pump. i know she's excited about it and i'm excited for her as well. this will make things a whole lot easier and i think her blood-sugar levels will reflect positively.

last night we played another harry potter game...this time i lost, but it was a good game. x-play was new and it showed some good stuff, including how to fix the disc read errors that older models get. also in the video gaming world, i wanted to mention something really cool: gamefly. if you haven't heard anything about it, gamefly is a service very much like netflix. you pay a flat monthly fee and receive games via the mail as rentals. you can keep these games as long as you like without worrying about late fees. the best thing about this, however, is that if you like a game that you rent, you have the option to buy it at a used price...they'll send you the original packaging and everything. needless to say, i signed up. games in my queue include those already available as well as those coming soon. examples, you ask? well, most importantly i have the quidditch world cup on the list, final fantasy x, xiii, viewtiful joe, the hobbit, castlevania (ps2 and gba), and a whole lot more that i can't remember...something like 25 games right now.

wanna laugh? check these cartoons out...damn funny. here's some interesting news i saw on genuis: a black hole has been found to emit a note 57 octaves lower than middle C. yeah, yeah, that's not too important, but i thought it was pretty sweet that something is able to escape the black hole...or, rather, that the black hole does something else besides having immense gravity and mass. anyway, i believe that is all for today. maybe this evening will merit another post. for now, out.
