www.penny-arcade.com Penny Arcade One of my personal favorite sites out there. Tycho and Gabe create a comic strip on a Monday, Wednesday, Friday basis and they're quite funny. Commentary on many great subjects and that's probably the reason why I link to them so much. Linked in: July 9, 2003 - July 11, 2003 - July 21, 2003 - August 8, 2003 - August 11, 2003 - August 14, 2003 - August 27, 2003 - October 08, 2003 - October 15, 2003
www.imdb.com IMDB.com The Internet Movie Database. This site is the source for all the movie information you could want. I've mentioned them many times when linking about a movie, telling about actors or writers, or making fun of Gigli. Very good site. Here's one section within IMDB that's pretty cool: 100 bottom(read: worst) movies. Linked in: July 10, 2003 - July 15, 2003 - July 23, 2003 - July 28, 2003 - August 4, 2003 - August 8, 2003 - August 11, 2003 - September 17, 2003 - October 6, 2003 - November 13, 2003 - November 21, 2003 - December 1, 2003

wbloggar.com W.Bloggar This is a site with a very nice posting utility called W.Bloggar. I used to post all of my entries with that application, but I've gotten out of the habit since I don't have it on my new machine. It works nicely with MovableType, but I think it's capable of many other blogging / posting sites. Linked in: July 11, 2003
www.slashdot.org Slashdot: News for Nerds Great site with articles and opinions regarding everything technological or nerdy. Many good articles and interviews. www.uspoliticsforum.com U.S. Department of Laughs I can't remember where I first saw this site, but it made me laugh quite a bit. What this link contains is a page full of the anti-terrorist / safety signs developed by the government. The funny part comes in when you look at the sign and realize how vague it is, and then read the comment posted about it. Linked in: July 11, 2003
www.gamesarefun.com Games Are Fun My main source of video game news. This site originated as a spin-off to Lunar-Net. In the time it's been around, the site has grown quite a bit and become the catch-all for game news. Linked in: July 11, 2003 - July 29, 2003 - August 5, 2003 - August 8, 2003 - August 14, 2003 - August 25, 2003 - September 3, 2003 - September 15, 2003 - September 24, 2003 - October 6, 2003 - October 21, 2003 - November 5, 2003 - December 18, 2003
www.hob.com House of Blues, New Orleans This is the place I saw Jerry Cantrell...twice. It's a great venue, especially for smaller shows because you can get really close to the stage, see the stage from anywhere, and you get to wait outside in a cool (and old) New Orleans alleyway. Linked in: July 11, 2003
www.siia.net Don't Copy that Floppy This is just the official mentioning of the anti-piracy video, "Don't Copy that Floppy." I first saw this in 7th grade Computer class and it stuck. Luckily, I found the actual video file and I have it here (.wmv, 17.3mb) Linked in: July 21, 2003

You also have the freedom to download more sample voices or proprietary ones so that the text doesn't sound so robotic. Linked in: July 21, 2003

www.homestarrunner.com HomeStar Runner! This is the home of Strong Bad, Homestar, Marzipan, the Teen Girl Squad, and Trogdor. www.merl.com iGlassware I ran across this product one day, so I decided to mention it. It's a beer glass that, when queried by a computer or server at a computer, can monitor and report on the level of beverage in said glass. I thought it was pretty cool, but maybe not too practical just yet. Linked in: July 28, 2003
www.techtv.com/xplay X-Play from TechTV I watch this show every night that it's new. I wanted to be able to stream my own Winamp playlist and listen to it at work or whatever. Well, I found out how to do that (not hard at all) and also found some other good stations to listen to. The music ranges from video game tunes to downtempo electronica to classical to rock to whatever else you can think of. Shoutcast is great. Linked in: November 7, 2003 - December 2, 2003 - December 30, 2003
www.lucasarts.com LucasArts Website I'm a fan of Star Wars...a big fan. I don't like what Lucas has done to the franchise recently, but the core is still the same. Anyway, there are quite a few Star Wars games that I've been privvy to and they've been pretty fun so far. My main reason for linking this is the Dark Forces game series. I hopped on at the beginning with Dark Forces. After that came Dark Forces 2: Jedi Knight, my favorite game for a long time. LucasArts followed that with Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast and after that one was Jedi Outcast 2: Jedi Academy. Linked in: November 7, 2003
