mummies and quidditch cups

I won the Quidditch World Cup! Oh yeah! Bulgaria tried to cut out ahead in the begining, but I got in there and kicked their ass 500 to 20. I am the mad note when it comes to Quidditch. That game is damn fun. I love it. I won the Quidditch House cup for all four houses at Hogwarts and then proceeded with England to get the World Cup. I will probably play with the other teams for the World Cup as well.
Joel and I went to the New Orleans Museum of Art yesterday and saw the Quest for Immortality Egyptian Exhibit that was there. it was quite impressive. Jewelry, tombs, mummies, statues, wooden scuptures, very impressive. We then went along and walked through the rest of the art museum. We saw quite a few things, Pollack, Picaso, Renior, Cassat. There also was a room with photography in it that was very, very cool. I think that was one of the best parts of the museum. The collection of African and Asian art/artifacts was quite impressive as well. There was a sign in one of the hallways that said "Haitian Art" with an arrow, so Joel and I followed it down to the end of a hallway to a small alcove and there was the Haitian Art, all 6 pieces of it. They all looked about the same. Primary colors, people doing everyday things. Do you really need a sign for 6 paintings? The Egyptian Exhibit is worth seeing though. There is about 6 or 7 rooms with the artifacts in them and all came from the Egyptian Museum in Ciaro. The mummy was quite creepy. The statues and tombs were awe inspiring. The detail that was put into them is crazy. Their eyes follow you around the room. We had those electronic tour guides where you punch in the number posted and the appropriate information is given to you by Jeremy Irons. Hehe. Lots of death and rebirth in that place. It would be creepy as hell at night. Well, i better go and get some stuff done. Lots of stuff to do. Later...

There is no way at all that we heard crickets that night. There are eight lanes of interstate between the sidewalks and those wondows. We are crackheads, I tell you.
See you soon, love! Hi to Goober Boy.
