I have lost 10 lbs and the doc says I am doing great. My sugar levels are stabilizing and with that weight off it will help my body process the insulin it is getting. I have quit smoking. I didn't really smoke too much to begin with, but I have just cut myself off and it hasn't been bad at all. My urge to smoke is gone. I am eating healthier (relatively) and I feel awesome. None of my clothes fit anymore, but I feel awesome.
I figured out that I need 5 more classes to graduate. Unfortunately the Nazi school I go to doesn't really offer them at convienient times so I will have to go to school through next spring to finish. I could take some classes at the main campus up in Hattiesburg but #1 the drive sucks (an hour of nothing but pine trees, redneck store, pine trees, pecan house, pine trees giant rebel flag, and more pine trees) and #2 Hattiesburg sucks. I may do that though, I haven't totally thought it out yet. If I decide to do that I may graduate a semester earlier. That equals smiles. :-)
Joel and I went and saw Dawn of the Dead. It was pretty good as Zombie movies go. Very suspense filled, as opposed to cheap scares. The special effects were nicely done as well (make-up and 'splosions). Joel and I went on a mini DVD spree and bought the original one, but have yet to see it. I watched the first 10 or 15 minutes or so and it is pretty cheesey. This guy's head explodes, which is kinda cool in a cheap 1970s type way. I am wanting to go and see The Passion. Someone donated a really nice pair of books on it to my library and I was thumbing through them and it made me want to see it. Perhaps I can get Joel to take me this weekend, but I don't know when we would have the time. Well, its about that time. Later.....
