a severe contest between intelligence, which presses forward, and an unworthy, timid ignorance obstructing our progress

Bored is an understatement at this point. This is the slowest, most excruciating afternoon I have ever encountered, and I have encountered quite a few in a hospital bed, and that is no walk in the park.
So, I saw Batman Begins. Joel has a review of it, and I agree with him. I was very satified with the movie. More than I was over Star Wars Episode III: The Revenge of George Lucas Draining All the Nerds of Their Mother's Money.
If you live near Gulfport, MS than you should go and eat at Confusion. That place is excellent, and that's not the wine talking, although that was good, too. Leave it to Josh to get me drunk.
We finally had some much deserved rain early this morning. So much that it woke me up. I am sure the thunder and lightening didn't help, either.
I love watching people at the copy machine. They stare at it willing it to talk to them. I never found them that difficult to operate. You put the original copy in, push the button and the copy comes out.
Interesting story about my Alma Mater. I got a notice in the mail that I had a deliquent account with the business office, and in order for me to receive my diploma I had to call them and clear my account. Well, my account was deliquent for $.20. Twenty cents. Yeah, well, they cleared it and hopefully my diploma will be here in the next week or so.
Try and hold my diploma for twenty fucking cents. It cost them more to send me a letter in the mail than my "deliquent account" was worth. They lost at least $.17. Not to mention the person they had to pay to type the letter, the paper the letter was written on, and the envelope. USM is teh retarded.
Ah, the struggle of my brain.
