yeah, the economy is great!

The economy is so great I have two jobs.
Yeah, I have resorted to having two jobs now. I got a job at the Lynn Meadows Discovery Center as a "floor person". Essentially I am going to get paid to play with kids and to make sure they are having a good time and learning things.
"Learn, damn you, learn!!!"
I don't start until August. Getting the job was probably a result of my last name more than anything. The Herrs are large supporters of the LMDC. Joel has been active in the fundraisers. I think I heard more about him than the job itself. "He's so talented."
You can't just lay the Harry Potter book out and not expect me to touch it. We got it in today and it is on Jan's desk. Thus far I have refrained from touching it, but I still have four more hours to work.
Tonight is the release party and I will be there along with Joel, my sister-in-law Hilary and her friends Eric and Katie. We will be dressed up in our house uniforms. Well, everyone but Joel. Katie and I are in Gryffindor and Hilary and Eric are Ravenclaw. I have a Harry Potter crossword puzzle i copied from the New York Times Book Review we can do and we have that Harry Potter card game to occupy our time. Not to mention the psp and gba. I wish we had that portable screen for the Gamecube so we could play Quiddich, but the other things will have to do.
I read Bukowski's Post Office Wednesday. Man, is that book hilarious. I will have to write up a review of that and Zorro when I get a chance.
For now, I am out.

You have a Gamecube? I've never seen it. I have one, though if you want to borrow it. :) Go see Willy Wonka! It kicks much ass! We got our books in Monday, but we could'nt touch them, either. Joel talented? Whatever. He is not talented at all...except when he comes here after Paul is asleep. Then he is VERY talented!! Josh is home. He got in at like 2 in the morning. We have not talked to him yet.
